Announcing Burlington's Third Annual Seed Swap & Community Potluck on Saturday, March 16 - 12-3pm at the Memorial Auditorium Annex!
A collaboration between Burlington Permaculture, Grow Team ONE, Burlington Area Community Gardens (BACG), Vermont Community Garden Network, we aim to help connect and engage people from in and around Burlington. The Seed Swap is a community event to share plant material, anticipate the gardening season, learn from fellow gardeners and learn about active community organizations working to propagate urban agriculture throughout the area. We invite community members to bring their own non-GMO seeds to share and exchange, and we'll be well-stocked with a supply of seeds to share and disperse. Join in our silent auction to help raise money to support the event. Stick around for the potluck after the swap; please bring a dish to share and your own plate and fork to reduce waste. Donations welcome. We hope to see you there.

OUR MISSION
Burlington Permaculture united neighbors to promote urban agriculture and reforestation, enhance neighborhoods, and strengthen the web of community resources as we look beyond sustainability towards a healthy relationship with our landscape.
OUR VISION
Our vision is of a vibrant, productive Burlington in which community development promotes human interaction, food producing residential gardens and streetscapes supplant suburban lawns, and the absence of social, education, economic and ecological services our community produces helps to regenerate other degraded landscapes.
As a relatively new community entity, we are still in the early stages of developing our group identity. We strongly recognize that our efforts will only be effective if they originate from within the communities they aim to benefit. In other words, we want YOU to share your inspiration and efforts with us and the greater community.
